Played on JV and Varsity from 9th-10th at Abington Friends. 11th
grade played for Irv’s 2013 Summer league AAU: Hank Gathers Elite. Currently a starting forward for Abington Friends Girls Varsity Basketball team. 2013 & 2014 Abington Friends GV held 2nd place in the Friends School League Championship.
About Court Sense:
I’ve been attending Irv’s training sessions for a little over a year starting February 2013. In March 2013, I tried out for Irv’s girls AAU team Hank Gathers Elite, and landed a starting forward position. This was a new opportunity granted to me by Irv. He believed in me & it was an awesome experience having Irv as my trainer and coach. From ball handling, footwork, to court awareness and just understanding the fundamentals of the game, Irv has taught me the importance of attacking each drill with urgency. He gives each of his students the individual attention needed in order to get the moves right. His dedication to the kids and to the game surely sets us up for nothing but greatness. He’s an amazing role model and as long as he sees you consistently working hard,he will support you every step of the way.
